119. Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA

This is the second of 3 IPAs from Dogfish Head and this one does stand out among the many other IPAs on the market. I still prefer the 90 minute to this one but at 6% alcohol this is the beer you should choose when you want more than one. Lots of smells including some citrus, floral and sweet malt. Taste has all of these characteristics as well and is very well balanced. If you enjoy IPAs or have friends or relatives that do keep a few of these in the fridge as it is a solid choice.
Pros: Balanced smell and taste
Cons: Not as good as the 90 Minute IPA
Alcohol Content: 6.0% ABV
Calories: ???
IBU (Bitterness): 60

Rating:
Brewers Website: Dogfish Head

Brewers Description: Our 60 Minute IPA is continuously hopped -- more than 60 hop additions over a 60-minute boil. (Getting a vibe of where the name came from?) 60 Minute is a session India Pale Ale brewed with a slew of great Northwest hops. A powerful but balanced East Coast I.P.A. with a lot of citrusy hop character, it's the session beer for hardcore enthusiasts!
